Katie Hoffman    Monotypes

Monotypes created by Katie Hoffman between 2017 and 2022. Monotypes are Printmaking’s unruly cousin; one-of-a-kind creations with a general disregard for rules and regulations. At least, that’s my story. And I’m sticking to it.

Travis Vermilye     Bound

Bound is a project that examines, explores, and reflects on the complex underground networks that bind the soil, fungi, and plant life together. Vast mycelium networks occupy the space beneath the surface of nearly every natural area we humans inhabit. In many cases, organisms are dependent on these networks for nutrients and also for a special type of biological communication between various species. Life as we know it, quite literally, could not exist without them. This project is my way of paying homage.

Bound consists of six physical pieces that simultaneously exist in the digital realm as augmented reality experiences as well as carbon neutral NFTs.

A Tribute: Works by Jon Teivlle 1931 – 2021

Statement from Sue Crosby Doyle and Terry Decker

Our neighbor and friend Jon Teivlle passed away on December 19th 2021, at the age of ninety years. Little did we know that she was an outsider artist who had been painting for over 50 years. She had a collection of her work dating back to the 1960’s. This is a curated show of her work. All proceeds from the sale of her work will be donated to the Cat Care Society.

Sue Crosby Doyle is an EDGE Gallery Member and is using her exhibition slot for this special exhibition.
