Satellite Membership Information:
EDGE Gallery is dedicated to contemporary and experimental artists who work outside the domain of commercial venues. Please read our mission statement before applying.
Who it’s for:
- Artists seeking an art community
- Artists who are just beginning their art career
- Artists who are looking for an affordable membership option
- Artists who don’t have time for Full or Associate membership
- Colorado artists who live outside a 50 mile radius from EDGE Gallery
- Former members who want to reconnect with EDGE Gallery
Condensed List of Rules and Benefits:
- Satellite members can participate in 2 group shows per year (with a possibility of more): a group exhibition showcasing Satellite members only (in half the gallery), and the December holiday cash and carry show alongside the full and associate members (in the entire gallery).
- Dues are $120 per year, non-refundable, paid in advance. In cases of financial need, other payment plans can be arranged (however, artists must pay for 6 months before exhibiting).
- Satellite members will get 1 image plus text (including links to artists’ website/social media) on the upcoming Satellite member section of the EDGE Gallery website.
- Satellite members won’t have jobs, sit the gallery, or get keys. They will not go to meetings, be involved in general EDGE Gallery emails, or vote. The Satellite Committee will communicate all relevant information to the Satellite members.
- For all exhibitions, EDGE Gallery will be responsible for the layout and installation of the artwork, as well as the formatting and printing of title cards.
- For the December holiday show, EDGE Gallery takes a 10% commission on the sale of artwork. For all other shows, no commission is taken.

Advice to applicants: presenting a consistent body of work is the best strategy for displaying your commitment to your art.
Please limit image size to around 1 Megabytes.
Additional information, such as website or instagram links, are welcome.
Voting will be done by the entire EDGE Gallery membership in a timed, secret, on-line vote. No interviews will be held.
