These three images show the start of a search for how to bring together a cognitive awareness of ecology with the look of the outdoor world.  I started the search by doing fairly unregulated improvisations, and in the work I’m doing now I’m controlling that search and focusing my improvisations a little more.  So, my search has advanced a little from the images shown here, but the new images are still in an embryonic stage.

My membership in the Rocky Mountain Land Library book club has been a large influence in the direction my work is taking.  We read a wide range of books about the earth and humans’ dealings with it.
